I could write a huge essay on how female characters are portrayed in media. SIIIIIGGGGGGGHHHHHHH I knew immediately that this was most likely a female night fury and fuck yeah shit fuck it is which is so disappointing. My first initial reaction was excitement! Oh hell yeah HTTYD 3 is coming out! I adored the first two! But then i saw… So this official poster has been released for How To Train Your Dragon 3 and it has left me with… opinions. Hey what’s up, that HTTYD 3 poster got me fucked up For the buried blast attack, I wanted to use an appropriate effect to mirror the attack’s stunning, so being knocked prone by a the earth being forced out from under the target seemed the right way to go.įor all of my Darkest Dungeon homebrew content, click here! The underground attacks it makes needed to be limited to areas it could reach underground, so I added a specific clause for each attack making this clear. For the chevalier’s attacks, I maintained the long-reaching underground attacks it makes, and added a bite attack with health-drain to add to the vampiric attacks theme carried across all my Crimson Court designs. The basic stats for the chevalier took inspiration from another segmented, burrowing monster, the remorhaz (in particular, it inspired me to give the chevalier tremorsense). The supplicant itself isn’t especially powerful, but is capable of taking over fallen player characters, giving combat with supplicants an extra edge of tension, knowing that the supplicants can take over fallen player characters. My design for the supplicant focused on giving it a new ability to change from one host creature to another. To mirror the sycophant’s mobility in Darkest Dungeon, I gave it the flyby rule, coupled with a high flying speed. As the sycophant needed to be weaker, I made the Maddening Whine only deal a low amount of psychic damage, compared to the manservant’s Enraging Slight. The sycophant’s rules were based on the groundwork from my manservant design, as the two share a lot of similarities. So, if part one wasn’t already enough to fill a dismal courtyard, this list should have enough horrors to overload it with buzzing and clicking bloodsuckers! This set of creatures is an extension to my list of Darkest Dungeon vampires, containing all the non-unique vampires not already listed. Vampires of Darkest Dungeon in D&D, Part 2
